Aside from the obvious feature of setting your bow down without the cam or limbs coming into contact with the surface, I’ve discovered a few additional benefits of these limb legs. For starters, they are extremely easy to attach and detach. Upon close inspection when attached, they make no contact with the limbs and only contact the limb pockets, meaning that you can shoot your bow while the limbs remain attached to the bow. I hunt whitetail from a climbing tree stand so these limb legs will allow me to set the bow between my legs in the upright and ready position. When hunting public land I can’t screw a bow hanger into a tree, so this remedy’s my problem. Plus I can keep both hands warm in my muff with my bow easily accessible.these legs also add a little bit of bottom weight to the bow and acts like a short forward double v-bar, further adding balance and stabilization to my shot. Finally, I have used these legs in a pinch to level my bow by propping the two front legs up while the third rear leg remains on the surface. This allows for emergency arrow rest and/or arrow alignment. The legs are lightweight enough not to add more weight than desired to the bow yet are sturdy and rugged enough to last.
