LIFT™X 29.5

So I bought this bow after my obsession turmoil rz was stolen, paper tuning, sighting in and shooting this bow was a very enjoyable experience. Things change up a bit at longer yardage, I've been shooting a bow since I was about 10 and have never had a problem with distance shooting until this bow. Terrible pin float, not very steady, and not very enjoyable. So I decided to remove the factory grip and shoot bare riser and the difference was immediate tight groups, pin float was gone and it turned into a rock steady bow. Matthews dealers should really allow the consumer to pick what grip they want with this bow. They offer 4 options and customers are already spending almost 1400 on a bare bow they should be able to at least customize the grip. I truly believe this is a money grab move because I don't feel I should have to buy a grip when I am not happy with the factory option and the manufacturer makes three more options(and I have heard all of them are better). Do better Matthews, professional shooters do not like rounded grips, they like a flat repeatable grip. I will buy an aftermarket grip because I will not give a penny for something that should be a factory selectable option especially when bought from an authorized dealer. Bow is an A+, smooth, quiet, and fast, money grab for having no choice but buying a different grip F-. If this bow didn't shoot and feel as good as it does this rating would be much lower.

I'm a bit big for the 29.5, but ended up getting the shorter to be more equipped all around. I max the draw at 30, generally am a 30.5 but works perfectly for tighter shots. Whether shooting from a blind, treestand, or chasing elk in the mountains. Done it all with the lift x and can say its the best bow I've had the pleasure of shooting and owning. I imagine I will follow mathews for awhile if they keep moving in this direction. It's light, quiet, deadly accurate and extremely consistent. Great job with this bow guys! Have had zero issues with it and have shot quite a bit. Owned this thing since March and plan on keeping it for years. 40 yards from a saddle stand and hit the exact point I was aiming for. With slight shakes and always with a bit of buck fever, the bow performed immaculately. I salute you Mathews Archery!

I have shot Mathew’s Bows since the Q2 , their technology sets the standard in the industry!! The new LST technology on the lift 29.5 proves it! So fast….So smooth….What else do you want in a hunting bow?

One of the fastest and smoothest shooting bows ever! Small and easy to maneuver around a tree when saddle hunting. Holds steady, and as long as you do your part the bow won’t let you down.

I just got my mathews lift x29.5 a week ago. I didnt understand how a flagship bow felt compared to other brands and i fell in love with this bow.
