Mathews Limited Lifetime Warranty
Mathews bows are manufactured in the United States with high quality materials by expert craftsmen. We build our bows to last a lifetime, and we offer a warranty that supports this. To be eligible for the Mathews Limited Lifetime Warranty you must:
- Register your Bow within three (3) months of purchase
- Initiate your warranty claim through an Authorized Mathews Retailer
What is Covered
Mathews Bows covered by the Mathews Limited Lifetime Warranty are warranted to the Original Registered Owner against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the Bow, except for the following exclusions. This warranty does not cover defects due to normal wear and tear, damage due to misuse, improper use, dry fires, alteration, accidents, tampering, improper storage, or negligence. Normal wear and tear includes, but is not limited to, chips, dings, scratches, or wear on finish or consumable parts caused by normal use. At Mathews’ sole discretion, any damage not covered under this warranty may be repaired for a reasonable rate and a fee may be charged for shipping.
Start A Warranty Claim
Mathews works directly with authorized Mathews Retailers on all warranty claims. You must process a warranty claim through an authorized Mathews Retailer. You can use our Retailer Locator to find and contact a retailer to help you initiate your claim. You Retailer may request the following information:
- Your name
- Registration number
- Description of the issue
Mathews reserves the right to not process any warranty claims not filed through an authorized Mathews Retailer.
All information relating to the claim, including the description of the issue, must be truthful, honest, and provided in good faith without fraudulent or malicious intent to deceive. Mathews reserves the right to deny a claim at any time if it is suspected that the claim is fraudulent.
Remedies Available
Once Mathews has received a warranty claim that complies with eligibility requirements, it will assess the issue described in the claim. This assessment may involve having the bow shipped to Mathews to be assessed in person. Mathews will, at its sole discretion, determine whether the damage claimed is covered under the warranty.
If the claim is covered, Mathews may either (1) repair the bow, (2) replace the bow, or (3) provide your Authorized Retailer with the parts necessary to repair the bow. Mathews may choose to communicate with you directly or through an Authorized Mathews Retailer throughout this process. Mathews will not charge you for repairing or replacing the bow, but Authorized Retailers reserve the right to charge for service work that accompanies warranty fulfillment.
Limitation of Liability
Mathews is not liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the performance and use of Bows, even if Mathews has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Mathews reserves the right to make substitutions on warranty coverage for any reason, including but not limited to available parts or custom color/camo patterns.
