OFF CAMPUS

FORD YATES SEPTEMBER 1, 2018

As a college student, I live for weekends. They’re my opportunity to duck the typical college scene and jump off the grid with friends. I believe the best bonds are built outside.

When that last class finishes on a Friday, I feel a sense of freedom to chase what I really love. For my group of friends and I, that’s bow hunting.

This weekend was no exception. After ten hours behind the wheel, two hours in a boat and 17 hours behind our bows, we arrived back to campus with a pile of stories and enough turkey to fill our mini fridges.
