I believe the Jewel is available in 'manly' Tactical, All-Black, and Lost Camo. I wouldn't let the fact that the Jewel is marketed as a "Lady's" bow put you off. I was shooting at my club with a couple, she had a Jewel, he had an Z7 Extreme ... she was piling up the points while he was ranting. Since they were about the same height, I suggested he try shooting her Jewel, after a few shots he was asking what he could get for trade-in on the Z7 Extreme. I shoot the original Monster at 60#/28.5", with bowquiver and four 492-gr arrows, its configured weight is right at 7 lbs, about the same as my scoped Winchester M70 .30-06. I hike about 1 to 1.5 miles to a treestand/groundblind and don't find the weight an issue. The only time I wish I had a lighter weight bow was hunting NM spot-N-stalk in which I covered almost 10 miles over some steep terrain. With a 6 gr/lb arrow shooting 60#/25.5", you could expect: Jewel: 254 fps, 52 KE ChillR: 260 fps, 54 KE MR5: 273 fps, 60 KE With the ChillR and MR5 set at 70#/25.5", shooting a 6 gr/lb arrow you could expect: ChillR: 262, 64 KE MR5: 276, 71.5 KE ... definitely shoot the ChillR and MR5. Hope this helps ...
