I was looking at one at my local bow shop early last year. I made a joke about how expensive they were. A guy there said he had one and loved it. He said he can keep ice for a week here in our Missouri summers which are usually 90-95 degrees. He said the trick is to cool them down before putting ice in. He said he freezes a milk jig with water in it. He then places the frozen jug in a day before he plans to use it. He said if you don't cool it down first some of your ice will melt trying to cool the inside of the cooler down from the temp it was stored at to 32 degrees. He said they work just as good for keeping food hot.
