The creaking noise you hear isn't coming from the peep. It's coming from the connection of the cable harness to the axle. They've been redesigned and lined with teflon to eliminate the noise. Just go to any authorized Mathews retailer and ask for the QCC's (quick connecting coupler). They may charge you a labor fee to install them. If your peep is continually rotating, even with different strings, there's a problem somewhere but it's not the bow. That won't influence anything. One of the most common problems are people lining up the peep when the bow isn't at full draw. It has to be aligned at full draw. If too many twists are placed in one end if the string, it'll become unbalanced. Twisting will occur until the string evens itself out. Peep serving that weakens will cause peep twisting as well. It's usually noticed by shooters who use a small diameter peep. I'd recommend making sure your string is balanced. Then align the peep at full draw. If it's twisted at brace height don't worry about it. Let it sit overnight and then make sure it hasn't moved at full draw. Once this is done, tie it in.
