I just picked up a used Switchback (still love this bow) but the arrows I have are 400 spine and the bow is maxed at 70#. My arrows are 29" draw length is 28" and 100 grain tips. I am thinking I need to drop the weight down into the low 60's and possibly shave an inch or so off my arrows to get back in the range I need to be. Other problem is I don't have a draw weight scale handy. Is there a set number of turns that will get me close? I have heard anywhere from 2 1/2# to 5# per turn and a search on here indicated 5 full turns for a Drenalin to drop 10 lbs. but I haven't found anything on the Switchback. Any advice?
