Solid head. When I first got mine there was only 'one' type. I was concerned that they might glance off bone at a bad angle (seemed to be a concern for what reason I don't remember). I shot them through layers of 3/4 inch ply at all kinds of angles. They blew holes right through even at bad angles. Had one fail to penetrate through a doe once but wasn't the heads fault. Shot through the blind fabric instead of the screen. Lesson learned. Arrow is lower than your sight LOL. They fly well and hit hard. Still have a few in the 'tackle box.' Switched to the G5 Montec and now use the Steelforce Phathead 100. Toyed with the thought of using the Slick this year but didn't take the time to tune them with the new rig.
