Vertical patterns or high /low shooting is what gjarcher is pointing out with rest or nock settings or center shot. Nock pinch will cause your pattern to be so random it makes no pattern to it. I was having my fixed blade 125 gr. broad heads hitting low to my 125 gr. field points by 2" maybe 3 inches consistently at 20 yards. Plus my FP pattern was a bit off center. All I did was to adjust my arrow rest up about 1/32" and afterwards I'm hitting solid with my field points. If you are hitting high try moving the rest down by 1/32" to see if it moves the POI down with it. Small adjustments can mean inches down range so make small adjustments then see what your pattern is consistently at the target. Evaluate that before you make any more adjustments to your setup.
