I am hoping when I buy my next truck that these diesel trucks get better MPG without adding ten thousand dollars (like now) to the MSRP. My Silverado (gas) mpg on the highway is not bad but my wife's new Ford Fusion gets 31mpg on the highway and I think she is getting over 20mpg in town....... Sure it's a car vs a truck but when I tow with the truck it's just a pop up, so not heavy and on out of state hunting trips our gear takes up enough space to justify a truck but no real weight. Better mpg's should be a benefit from a small turbo diesel in a pick-up (I hope). I live in northern IL so we constantly have higher gas prices. I use my truck as my daily driver and commute to work 68 miles round trip so better mpg's is a big concern to me. Bill
