Well, it was a tough year... Finally tagged a buck in mid-January with my bow, but it already had dropped its antlers - D'0h! Also dropped a doe on MLK day at 45 yards. The longest shot I've ever taken, and the doe dropped in about 20 yards in sight, so at least something went right to end the season. I hunted 30+ days this year but just couldn't connect on a decent buck. Only semi-decent one all year was a 7 pointer in early fall and I decided to let him walk - twice. But on the good side he will be bigger next year. Next fall I plan to head to Colorado to chase elk and mule deer with my bow to start the season. Arne
