I don't know the answer to your dilemma, but my only advice is be your own man ... or woman. If you don't feel you know enough to make your own decision, then back off and do enough research until you can make your own decision. That might take you deeper into bow engineering, shootability, forgiveness, draw cycle, and efficiency than you want to know at this point. However, without immersing yourself into the details, you'll always be at the mercy of the next best salesman.
I've shot the Creed and the Spyder 30 ... the Creed has my vote, but
both have too sharp of a string angle to suit my personal shooting style
. Not because I'm a Branded Mathews Guy, I shoot a Hoyt Contender Elite as my preferred target bow, but because I know what I want in a bow, and between the two for a hunting bow, the Creed would be my choice. Just my 2¢
