Yesterday I began full-time school to become an certified ophthalmic technician. Really excited about this new career. I have always been fascinated about the eye and how it works and how amazing it is that it does the things it does; now I will get to learn so much more and to help people at the same time. This program is a forty hour a week school with clinical rotations (complete with lab coat and scrubs) at Duke. I am very blessed to have been admitted into the program. Graduates normally have jobs before they leave school. Perhaps what I learn might help someone on here as it relates to vision and shooting and eye health. I hope as I know more I will be helpful here in a different regard. Please pray for our family as we try to make it all work for the next year. I will be working part-time as well and time will be in short supply for study, family, and life in general. Short term loss for a better outlook.
