I went on my first elk hunt last year in Colorado with my single pin sight... had no problems... I do alot of practicing with my pin on the wrong distance though so I know where to hold low or high... I usually shoot a few arrows at 40 & 50 yards and then I shoot 30 yards with my 20 yard setting... just mix it up and imagine different scenarios... I say to myself "there's a deer at 40 yards and you set your pin... then he walks right towards you at 25 yards and you have no time to adjust your sight... what do you do?"
