Wow. Didn’t know people bought bows based on the manufacture’s forum…..
Most probably don’t, however, as Sticks mentioned above, they can be quiet a marketing tool and a good source for info. As far as how this relates to Mathews, I doubt very seriously sales have dropped due to someone’s issue with this new forum. Too me, they areindependent. While I do enjoy being a member on the forum (and have been for a long time), my main concern is archery and hunting, and so far, Mathew’s bow’s have not let me down. Also, one has to remember that what a “dealer” sells the most tends to be the things that they promote the most.

[/quote] But without the forum, you have very few fanboys. And they are a core recruitment group for new buyers. This forum was the greatest marketing tool Mathews had. Bar none. And they flushed it. And it will reflect in their sales. Crappy forums don't sell bows near as well as a high traffic popular forums.
