[quote=577252]I have both the original Double Bull Darkhorse and the new Rhino XP-1. I am planning on buying another blind before next turkey season. It will be a Double Bull. The Rhino blind is very well built…at least as good in craftsmanship as the DB. It is tight…no wind flap. One of the thingsI don’t like about it is the fabric is a bit shiny on the inside. The magnets are a great idea but they should be alot stronger. It has been very hard for me to find a configuration I like with the main window. I don’t like the Velcro system at all. I don’t want to shoot thru the window screen with my expandable turkey broadheads, but I would like to be able to quietly adjust the mesh for a bit of see thru camo on the corners. With the DB my options are almost endless with the main window. The biggest downfall for me personally is the height of the bottom of the main window. It is not adjustable at all. Once it is zipped all the way down it isn’t low enough for me to comfortably make a close shot…say 8-10 yards. This is sitting in both the Primos tri-stool, and the magnum tri-stool. I’m 5′ 8″, so this wont be a problem for you taller guys. The DB is so adjustable I can lower the window as far as I like. I am going to keep the Rhino, because it will work fine for gun hunting. I’m going to find a taller stool for bowhunting out of it, or just turn it around and shoot thru the ports. I really wanted to like this blind as their customer service was great to talk to, they are located in my state, and its also 200 bucks less then the DB. That’s my take.
