What vanes are you using? With Short-N-Tall vanes, especially with the moleskin, there may be insufficient clearance with the standard launcher.
Be sure to shoot cock vane up
. If there is insufficient clearance with the containment bar, rotate the nocks about 30º or so until there is clearance. 1. Does the QAD launcher have about 1/8" clearance above the shelf when fully down? 2. Is the launcher 90º to the self when full up? 3. Is the timing cord tied in at least 2½" or more below the bottom of the rest? 4. What is the nock height?
If vane orientation doesn't solve the clearance issue, then the optional TL-1 launcher (comes with the rest) may be what you need to solve your clearance problem. The TL-1 launcher has a higher valley and shorter ears so that it clears faster
Since the TL-1 launcher supports the arrow about 1/8" higher, the D-Loop will need to be moved up the string accordingly, the timing cord should be fine, but the bow should be retuned for a bullet hole in paper with the new nock height. Before retuning, use spray foot powder or lipstick on the edge of the vanes and test for vane clearance.
