the lines should match at the rests full rotation,if it goes past, they just might not be perfectly scribed. it sounds as though the cord is a bit tight and raising too early in the draw,therefor it's late on release, causing your clearance issues. you can adjust the cord yourself at the thumbwheel with a small(7/64") allen wrench. if you back the allen screw out about three full turns,you can slide the cord just a bit and retighten so it lifts to timing marks just before full draw. give it a try if you feel confident and you should see results.
