So..... Did you order it? If so...CONGRATS!!The 85lb model is a super smooth draw IMO ... just don't push it too fast to move up to that weight if you've never shot it before. Gradually build up. IMO, it
so much if you have the muscle to pull back 85lbs but that you have healthy tendons, ligaments and connective tissue to support the muscles/shoulder. A few things you may want to mention to your dealer during the ordering process... 1) If you go with the 85 lb model, which I recommend, have your dealer throw in another set of mods so you can go from 70lb to 85lb and not have to modify the draw length to a significant degree. When my Safari is set at 85lb using Dangerous Game .200 spine shafts, I have 28" mods in the cams. However, because my Safari shoots and holds so well at 70 lbs for whitetails, I put in 27.5" mods and I believe the draw length is nearly the same regardless of draw weight. 2) Consider asking dealer for a discount on a separate set of Monster Safari 70 lb limbs... I was surprised at how willing my dealer was to throw in/discount a few things due to how much I was spending...doesn't hurt to ask!
