Hey guys, Just purchased my new creed and had a 27 inch cam put into it because its original 28 was too long. My draw weight is about 56 or 57 #’s right now. I noticed the orignal sticker on the limb said 26.5 / 70 and i asked about this and the shop said that when i first tried it out they may have put a different cam in there for me or it was swapped out at some point. Anyways…. What i am worried about is that i am drawing 56 pounds on a 70 pound limb potentially but i have heard there should be a stamp on the limb designating what they are rated for. Could somebody help me find this stamp locaiton i cannot see it anywhere and also…… has anyone backed a 70 pound down to 56 ish i hear that could be a very bad thing but the shop set up my bow so I assume whatever limb i have is okay . The bow is shooting fine btw and hasnt blown up on me.
i have 70lbs limbs on my creed and have a short draw, as i have the 26" cam ....dealer showed me and explained to me about ability of this bow being able to be backed out below the 60lb..i started shooting mine the day i got it at 53, then slowly working it up as i have had 4 shoulder surgeries and was concerned about this ....so seeing it to believe it can be done at lower lbs....i have a no worries after slinging 1000+ arrows already and no issues...perect from first arrow til now....i've been from 53 up to 65 checking speed with chrono and playing around with wraps, vanes/fletchings....checking lbs w/ gauge and no issues ....fast, fun and whiisper quiet...love my creed!
