My thoughts for a hunting bow are the exact opposite. With most hunting shots (opportunities), the conditions are usually less than perfect....and factors like odd positions, angles, poor footing, cold, bulky clothing, etc can easily cause our form to break down. Bow geometry alone (mostly length and string angle) on a longer bow will definately help indicate if your form has broken down under those types of conditions. ....so the LD is my choice of the two. You can always split the difference and go with a 33" Dren
