Neil, didn't know if you had time to catch it or not, but I posted a question about the cat whiskers on the string suppressor string yesterday. I tied the cat whiskers in like you instructed on the string and it started jumping my top suppressor! Needless to say, I removed the cat whiskers last night and shot about 20 times and not once did the string jump the suppressor.
Can you think of any reason it would cause it? Would the length of the cat whiskers have anything to do with it? Mine were a tad bit longer that 3/4 of an inch, probably about an inch in length. I put em on to try and keep the top string suppressor from shredding. Oh well, other than that the bow is shooting great!! Thanks...shoot em straight, later...Mike
Mike...
thats the first I have heard of that being the cause instead of preventing the jumping?? Bow is in spec..? mainly Idler lean? logically the longer the silencer the more it would eliminate the string vibration so i dont think it the length..you placed the whiskers 2 inches from top suppressor and 3" from bottom suppressor?
