I have also have my own idea on building these nocks. Insted of the wooden dowl this is how i make them Step 1. I get the nock that is going to house the light, i Drill a small hole in the end to make the light show up brighter. Then I put a small dab of super glue around the corner of the light bulb itself. Press the light up into the nock until it turns on, leave up in the nock until the super glue is dry. Step 2. You then take the nock that you have the light in and sand the little lips down on it that makes it fit snug into the arrow, doesn't take much just enough that it slides in and out easy. Step 3. Get a old nock i cut it in half then half again, this is the part that will hold the knock in the arrow during the opperation of the light. You cut the nock in half then glue it to the end of the light's battery i use a 5 min appoxy. Step. 4 Press the whole assembly down the arrow shaft until it is all the way seated. Then to turn it off all you do is pull out on the nock slightly and it turns off. Also there is a Youtube video on how to make these. here is how to find that video First you need to see my 102 yard shot lol. Type in Homemade lumenok and its the one that says 102 yard shot. in the related videos you will see the video on how to make them.
