its AMAZING how fast someone finds god when thry just LOST a 150 million dollar contract (to PLAY a game ) plus MILLIONS in indorsements (to simply WEAR cloths and shoes )and to possibly get thrown in the slammer for up to 5 years , it takes a super IDIOT to risk ALL of that and a lifstyle of EASE for somthing like illegal dogfighting and betting on it ,,comeon it s not like he needed the money its amazing how dumb some people can be[/quote:19rdyfl2] I'm not a psychologist however I bet that money was not his motive[/color:19rdyfl2]. Just as a professional poker player often does not "need" money or "need" to continue, it is something they enjoy doing and perhaps they "need" to do psychologically. They just love to do it. In the same essence Vick's father said dog fighting is Vick. It is simply what he does. Just as much as deer hunting is to me dog fighting is for Vick. Not comparing the two (one is legal other is not) but I am sure if you could look into his mind and could hear his thoughts that is what it would be saying... not that he could win $25,000 if his dog one... but that he gets some thrill out of it. Sad but true.[/quote:19rdyfl2] Money is his only motive to change. Sponsorships drooped and Atlanta looking to get allot of his up front money back and with this new commish I bet they will get a good chunk.[/quote:19rdyfl2] Yes one of his motives to change is money. However as I stated I doubt that money was his high for dog fighting. Simply I heard the largest bet was potentially $25,000? What is $25,000 to a guy worth $150 million. It would be like me playing penny poker... not very fun if money was my motive. That is what I meant. As for those attacking mom I think you guys are overreacting. She said it was a horrible thing he did. She in no way condoned it just saying that dog fighting was important to him... its a fact or he wouldn't have done it. And everyone deserves a second chance and everyone is capable of change and turning their life around.
