[quote="RichP":1nv0g8tv]BaMaBoWHuNTeR, I have another question I'm sure you can answer. When I purchased the Bitzenburger Dial-O-Fletch, I ordered it from Cabelas. I talked to a so-called expert who said the nock receiver didn't come with it. Well, as you know, it does come with it. Not knowing that, I ordered the TM nock receiver, which is listed as available for 120 degree cock-down. So here I sit, with the standard nock receiver (which has the one flat side) and the TM nock receiver. I'm sure I need only the standard nock receiver, I want to fletch arrows to shoot through a whisker bisquit. Is there any reason to keep the TM nock receiver? When would I use it? I haven't used the Bitzenburger yet, and I'm obviously not well versed it it's use yet. I'd appreciate your feedback. If the TM nock receiver is something I may need down the road, perhaps with another rest, let me know and I will keep it around, otherwise I will return it for a refund. Thanks a lot![/quote:1nv0g8tv] Personally, I'd get a refund (because I'd never use the TM).... But that's just me... I've fletched tons of arrows with the standard nock reciever, and never had a problem. I've fletched 3 vanes, 4 vanes, etc. I really don't see a need for the TM...
On the whisker biscuit: I've shot vanes with a helical and straight offset. Both work good. Just remember to add a drop of glue at the front and back of each vane to make sure they don't come off when going through the biscuit...
