[quote="THEFATMAN":16ngwkv5]I grew up loving to work on cars. I loved it...tinkered all the time. So, I thought it would be a cool way to earn a living. It sucked. I went back to college, got another degree, and moved on. Turning your hobby into your job is a decision we all have to make carefully. Not everyone is cut out for it; I wasn't. If you make your favorite hobby your work, what do you do to get away from your job? I work hard so I can enjoy what I want to do....when I want to do it. If I don't succeed at hunting/fishing/etc, I still have a way to support my family. Don't get me wrong, it's good to be passionate about your work. I just needed to seperate the two.[/quote:16ngwkv5] That's very true. You hear people say that they're "doing what they love to do", but no matter how much you like to do something, when you're forced to get out of bed and do it whether you feel like it that day or not, it ceases to be done for enjoyment and it becomes work. I'd like to hunt for a living, but under my own rules, I guess.
