Hello from France I discovered this method yesterday evening, and tried it this morning on my Drenalin: That is a great tuning method!
No more lateral effect depending of the distance !!!
Thanks a lot.
I am a bit surprised to read that this method is named "the french method" in the USA: in France it is nearly unknowed !!!! Regards Olivier[/quote:3t7htxkg]
To the forum...Im from Canada ...I heard it was a french Canadian term back in the 80's
Neil[/quote:3t7htxkg] Most folks attribute this method to Gerhard Gabriel and/or Vic Berger... There is a difference in that Vic Berger method only uses fletched arrows and assumes a few things... it is what is commonly referred to as walk back tuning and sometimes French tuning... I believe the "French" part my refer to the retreat (walk back) part... So it is very likely that the FRENCH would not use that term... Here is a brief explanation of both methods..
