I would take the aluminum. I went thru 3 dozen carbon arrrows last year. A lot was my fault , either lost them in the woods or busted them. Last week I was busting an arrow every other day , but that was my XT s' fault. Now I am shooting spots. As far as durability I still got some 2315's I bought in 91 and I am thinking about getting an arrow straightener. I just bought some 2419 XX75 for 30 bucks a dozen. I guess I am in the minority but carbon arrow are not more durable for me and usually too lightweight.
