Toja first got involved with archery after trying out a friend’s bow. From the first arrow she shot, she knew that she needed her own bow. She went out and got one and ever since then, her family has been integral to her success. With her family supporting and encouraging her, along with the myriad of archery knowledge shared with her by Dejan Sitar, she’s grown much as a professional archer.
Toja’s competition bow of choice is the Conquest 4, and her most memorable moment so far is competing in and winning her first big archery competition.
Some of her recent accomplishments include the following:
- 2011 Indoor Archery Championship- Spain 2nd place
- 2011 European Field Championship 3rd place
- 2011 World Cup – Croatia 2nd place Team
- 2010 World Cup-Croatia 5th place
- 2010 European Junior Cup 1st Place
To any up-and-coming archers, she would like to share with you her motto. “Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard”.
She loves shooting archery and competing, but in her spare time when she’s not pulling a bow back, she enjoys training for gymnastics.
