Randy Goza, a resident of Alaska, has been hunting species from wild turkeys and deer to even varmints. Goza was introduced to archery in the fall of 1995 by Elton Kennedy of Mer Rouge, LA. Bow hunting is Goza’s favorite part of competition because it has given him the opportunity to see and experience some of nature’s greatest creations.
Goza was instrumental in establishing NASP (a group that instructs students on how to maintain archery equipment) at the high school his children attend.
Aside from archery, one of Goza’s hobbies is aviation. Goza has competed in the Valdez, Alaska, short takeoff and landing competition.
Goza says “Mathews solocam bows have proven to be dependable accurate bows holding up to my abuse, rather checked as baggage on a airline, or strapped on to a wing strut on my bush plane or hand stalking up a mountain. Yet simple enough to “fix,” unforeseen accidents in the go on.”
