Steve Bartylla has been enjoying archery for the past 30 years. For the past 9 years he has been working as an outdoor writer. His work appears in all of the major hunting magazines. He has 50 to 70 articles a year published. He also conducts seminars at the largest deer expos. Steve began hunting at the age of 11. He harvested his first whitetail at the age of 12.
Steve also works as a consultant for 3 top outfitters. He scouts land, finds stand sites, picks route in and out of the stands, identifies what phase of the season each stand is best for and provides other advice as well.
Steve also has produced and has been featured in videos and shows on the Outdoor Channel. When he is hunting, his bow of choice is the Switchback.
The advice that Steve gives to new archers is to practice, practice and practice some more. Remember, hunting is supposed to be fun.
