Ronnie Smart has been enjoying archery for 32 years. He has competed as a pro for the past 15 years. He competes in the Senior Pro class. His bow of choice for competition is the Conquest 4 and his bow of choice when hunting is the MR7.
Some of his accomplishments include:
- 1999 – Cabela’s World Champion
- 1999 – IBO PA Champion
- 2002 – IBO National Team Champion
- 2003 – IBO National Team Champion
- 2006 – NFAA 3D National Championship, Yankton SD 1st Place
- 2007 – IBO Triple Crown – Nelsonville – 1st
When Ronnie is not competing he enjoys hunting, fishing and taxidermy. Ronnie has 8 Pope and Young whitetails to his credit.
The advice that Ronnie gives to new archers is to be patient on your shooting. Progress and learn to shoot with a surprise release.
