Robb later decided to go to law school to represent athletes and entertainers.
When he is not hunting, he works as an agent and attorney for athletes, entertainers and corporations. In his professional career he has worked with professional athletes and musicians; including Anthony Munoz, Mark Schlereth, Rich Gannon, Tim Wakefield; Country Singers Garth Brooks, Craig Morgan, Gary Morris, John Michael Montgomery and many others. He is also tirelessly devoted to the charity he and his wife created in honor of their late son Hunter. Hunter, was less than a year old when he was diagnosed with a rare brain disorder called Sturge-Weber Syndrome. The disease was not supposed be terminal but there was no prognosis and no cure. As a result, Robb and his wife, Wendy, started Hunter’s Dream for a Cure, a charitable foundation that helps raise money for Sturge-Weber and other neurological diseases. Funding from the foundation helped launch the Sturge-Weber Clinical Research Center at Johns Hopkins Hospital, the first center of its kind in the U.S. The facility was renamed the Hunter Nelson Sturge-Weber Center.
Hunter died in 2005 at age 5-1/2. The Nelsons continue to raise money for Hunter’s Dream through several charitable events, including their annual Celebrity Hunt for a Cure.
Robb and Wendy live with their son, Brady, in Colorado. Robb enjoys hunting for deer, elk, turkey and antelope. He was featured in the July 2006 Issue of the Mathews Newsletter.
