Phil Phillips began his bowhunting career at the age of 10.
The target animal then was small game. Another 5 years would pass before Phil
harvested his first deer. Since then, for more than 30 years, he has hunted
across five continents, and taken more than 200 big game animals and 38
different species worldwide.
In addition to his personal hunting accomplishments, Phil
was also a professional guide and outfitter for 27 years. During that time, he
guided his clients to more than 500 big game animals which qualified for the
record book. In 1992, Safari Club International (SCI) honored him as the North
American bowhunting outfitter of the year.
As the host of some very exciting
and informative outdoor television shows for 10 years, Phil is currently
headlining “Summit’s High Places” on The Outdoor Channel. Also, Phil has
field-tested archery and hunting products as a pro-staffer for some of the most
respected manufacturers in the industry which include companies like Easton,
Mathews, Scent-Lok and Summit Tree Stands.
