At just 14 years old, Mark began competing professionaly on the turkey calling circuit. He was extremely successful and pretty soon he made a name for himself in the industry. Soon after, one of the largest outdoor video production companies contacted Mark and offered him a job. At the young age of 19, Mark, along with the help from his long time friend Mark Drury, produced his first fill length turkey hunting video. Mark quickly got “The Fever”. As a result, he established his own production company, Cross Timbers TV Enterprises.
Cross Timbers quickly became successful in the outdoor television industry by producing commercials, hunting DVDs, and tv programs for national distribution. In 1998, Cross Timbers was commissioned by the National Wild Turkey Federation to produce their first television program, “Turkey Call” for the Nashville Network(TNN). The program was a huge success and was essentially the start of a legacy of national television productions for Mark and Cross Timbers.
Today, Mark owns, hosts and produces his very own shows, aptly named “Gobblin’ Fever” and “The Fever”, which has been airing for over 11 years. It’s a faced paced, in your face show that takes its viewers along with Mark and the entire “Fever Crew” on hunting adventures all across the country.
