Kendall Woody competes with the Conquest 4 but hunts with the Drenalin.
Kendall first got involved in the sport of archery at the age of 12. He says, “I had asked for an Automatic shotgun for Christmas, but my parents didn’t think I was quite ready for it. When I woke up Christmas morning, there was a compound bow sitting under the tree instead of a shotgun. I was a little disappointed at first, but that soon diminished. It is one of the best things that could have ever happened to me. I have enjoyed bow hunting and competing ever since.”
The biggest piece of advice that Kendall has for new archers is to make it fun. He also says, “There is nothing easy about getting to the top level in competition. You should expect bumps and setbacks along the way, but if you keep at it, you will persevere.” Some of his most recent accomplishments include:
- 2010 – Lancaster Archery Classic – 6th
- 2010Â – World Archery Festival, Vegas – 26th
- 2010 – NFAA Indoor Nationals – Tied for 9th
- 2010 – NAA US Indoor – 15th
- 2010 – Dakota Classic – 8th
- 2010 – NFAA Outdoor Nationals – Tied for 4th
When not competing, Kendall likes to play golf, hunt and fish. He is currently helping coach his daughter’s softball team, which he says is very rewarding.
