Grant Elsley has been enjoying archery for the past 30 years. He competes in the MBO (IBO). His bows of choice to compete with are the Conquest Triumph. Some of his accomplishments include:
- 2010 3DAAA Australian Championships- 4th MBO
- 210 3DAAA Shooter of the Year – 4th MBO
- 2010- 3DAAA Tam of the Year – 1st
- 2010 – 3DAAA NSW State Championships – 1st MBO
- 2010 – 3DAAA NSW Series – 2nd MBO
- 2009 – 3DAAA Australian champion – 1st MBO
- 2009 – 3DAAA Shooter of the Year – MBO
- 2008 – 3DAAA Australian champion – 1st MBF
- 2008 – 3DAAA Shooter of the Year – 1st MBF
- 2007 – 3DAAA Australian champion – 1st MBF
- 2007 – 3DAAA Shooter of the Year – 1st MBF
- 2007 – Steven Reeks Medal winner
Grant first got involved in the sport of archery when is brother had gotten a bow. Since his brother had gotten a bow, he needed to get one as well. Grant says that his family has made the biggest impact on his career. He says, “Without their support I could not have the success I have had.” The advice that Grant gives to new archers is to remember it is only a game, so enjoy!
When Grant is not competing, he enjoys spending time with his two boys and watching most sports.
