Georgie got involved in archery as a result of her sister being involved. Her sister took up archery due to her disability as it was something she could participate in. Georgie also wanted to try archery. She enjoys the challenge that archery gives her. Danielle Brown, her elder sister, has been her biggest inspiration. Due to Danielle’s success, Georgie sees herself following in her foot steps and is determined to be better than her. Georgie’s favorite parts of competition is traveling to other countries and meeting other successful archers who are an inspiration to her. She loves the feeling of being successful as it gives her satisfaction. Her advice to new archers is “To gain success, go for it, the hard work and practice will pay off”. In her spare time she enjoys going to the gym, running, and swimming as well as spending time with family and friends and pet dog. Georgie’s most memorable moment in archery is making the Great Britain Team for the first time. She sets her aim high as she knows she has the drive and potential to achieve them.
