Austin McIntosh has been enjoying archery for the past 11 years. His bow of choice when competing is the Conquest 4 and his bow of choice when hunting is the MR6. Some of his most recent accomplishments include:
- 2009 – ASA Florida (Open A) – 2nd
- 2009 – ASA Illinois (Open A) – 2nd
- 2009 – IBO Nelsonville, OH (MBO) – 2nd
Austin first got involved in the sport of archery when he dad gave him an old recurve which he shot in the back yard. He also says that his dad has had the biggest impact on his career because it was him that made it possible for him to go to shoots and to get coaching.
When not competing, he enjoys exercising and playing just about any sport there is.
