ELECTRIC PINK JEWEL

Since 2008, sales of the Pink Lemonade Genesis, Electric Pink Ignition, Passion and now Jewel bows have generated over $100,000 for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. A portion of the proceeds from the sales of these pink bows will also go towards Aiming For a Cure and the fight against breast cancer.

Features

Perimeter-Weighted Technology, yet another Mathews innovation, features a metal Inertia Disk strategically placed on the perimeter of the cam. As the bow limbs fire, the Inertia Disk catapults in the opposite direction, counteracting the limb momentum and resulting in dramatically decreased recoil and noise.
NOTE: Limb Graphics dictate the color accents.
Grid Lock™ Technology results in a stronger, lighter-weight riser.
Mathews’ proprietary SE5 Composite SlimLimb™ Technology raises performance and efficiencies to unprecedented levels and are nearly 20% lighter than tradition V-Lock™ Limb Systems. Featured on the Jewel are four unique limb graphics in Gold, Pink, Teal and Platinum. The limb graphic preferred will dictate the color of the Jewel and all other colored accents on the bow.
Parallel Limbs are yet another Mathews innovation that has been adopted by other bow companies. The more parallel a bows limbs, the more they tend to cancel each others recoil and vibration resulting in a smoother shooting bow.
Spherelock is our cutting-edge positive-locking limb cup system. Its trim, lightweight and pivots to ensure constant and positive downward limb pressure.
The SlimLimbs on a Mathews bow ride on these spindle-shaped limb turrets, which spread the load and cradle the limbs.
Reverse Assist Roller GuardThe Reverse Assist™ Roller Guard reduces friction for a smoother draw cycle by positioning cables in a reverse manner; in front rather than behind the roller guard.  Traditional roller guards position cables on the back side of the roller guard and cause the cables to wrap tighter as the bow is drawn back and therefore places more pressure on the cables.  The Reverse Assist™ Roller Guard allows the cable to roll with less tension in a fully contained roller guard and ultimately makes the bow smoother since there is less tension on the cable.
NOTE: Limb Graphics dictate the color accents.
Mathews Genuine Accessories are designed and manufactured to precise standards which optimize performance and provide perfect fit, finish and quality to your Mathews bow.   You’ll find Mathews innovation within each product and experience excellence in every shot. Find Mathews Genuine Accessories exclusively at Authorized Mathews Retailers.
New for 2011, the Harmonic Stabilizer evolves!  The Harmonic Stabilizer Lite will give optimum performance and reduce nearly 75% residual vibration and is nearly 70% lighter than the original Harmonic Stabilizer!
NOTE: Limb Graphics dictate the color accents.
While they've become the visual identifier of a Mathews bow, Harmonic Dampers are weights that float in an elastomer wheel to absorb recoil vibration in the riser. The reduction in recoil vibration is so significant in this Mathews technology that is has been licensed for use in other industries.
Without String Suppressors bow strings would whiplash back and forth between the cam and idler wheel upon release. String Suppressors deaden that vibration making for a much quieter and smoother shot.
Stand out with a handcrafted genuine jewel that has a distinguished look of quality and prestige to match your style.
The Dead End String Stop™ by Mathews drastically reduces vibration and virtually eliminates post-release noise. Matching Dead End String Stop™ emblems are featured on the new Jewel based off the limb graphics preferred.
Monkey Tails™ equates to a minimal speed loss of 1-2 fps total with virtually all string and cable sound and vibration eliminated. Monkey Tails are available in a variety of colors. Customize your bow and view different color options installed with the Bow Visualizer
String GrubString Grubs aid in reducing string vibration in order to gain more speed.

Specifications

The IBO speed rating for a bow is reached by shooting a 350 grain arrow at 70lbs of draw weight and 30 inches of draw length. This is important to remember because unless you are shooting the same specs used to attain IBO speed ratings, your bow of choice will not shoot as quickly as you might think...read more
This is the length of your bow as measured from the axle of the top idler wheel to the axle of the lower cam. When it comes to applying these dimensions to target shooting or hunting it is important to consider how and where the bow will be used...read more
The term “brace height” refers to the distance between the throat of the bow grip and the string. Brace height is important for many reasons. First, the shorter the brace-height, the faster the IBO speed rating will be. This is simply due to an increase in the bows power-stroke. In other words, the arrow remains on the string for a longer period of time because the string must travel a longer distance...read more
This is simply the minimum and maximum amount of weight required to bring the bow to full draw. Typically, this weight range is 10 pounds. For instance, a bow with a 60 pound peak draw weight will have a minimum of 50 pounds. Likewise, a 70 pound draw will carry a minimum draw-weight of 60 lbs. Overall draw weight can be increased or reduced (within this 10 pound range) by simply tightening or loosening the limb-bolts on each limb...read more
This is the actual weight of the bow. Bowhunters who typically hunt in demanding terrain will often favor a lightweight setup such as the all new Mathews Hēlim weighing in at a remarkable 3.5 lbs. or the Mathews Jewel, DXT or Z7 Xtreme. Such bows make long hikes over tough terrain much easier as the hunter experiences less fatigue. This can be a real asset over the course of a long backcountry hunt...read more
The term “let-off” basically refers to the percentage of weight that is subtracted from the bows advertised draw weight. In other words, a bow set at 70lbs, with 80% let-off, will only require that the shooter hold back 14lbs of weight when the bow is at full draw...read more
In order to reach your full potential as a shooter and a bowhunter it is important to be relaxed and comfortable when executing the shot. To achieve this situation, the bow must fit you properly; i.e. the draw length must be correct...read more
The bowstring has two purposes. First, it is used to transfer energy from the shooters arms and back muscles directly to the limbs of the bow. This allows the bow to be “drawn” and thus store energy. Second, it is used as a catalyst to transfer that energy from the limbs to the arrow...read more

Smoothest bow on the Market!

I just recieved my Jewel this week and today I shot a competition with my fixed pin hunter set up and won first place shooting a 246 out of 250 and 11 shooters in my class. My Jewel is the smoothest bow on the market. My husband loves my jewel so much that he is setting down his Z7 Extreme to put a Jewel in his hands. I look forward to our first season of filming now that I have my Jewel along for the ride with me! Thank you Mathews! You rocked it again!

My Mathews Jewel

WOW!
Dynamite does comes in small packages!!
My husband surprised me with a new 2011 Mathews Jewel for my birthday. I was speechless.
I’m an avid bow huntress and also a Prostaffer for TeamFlatline Outdoors.
I am 5′ 1″ and have always used a youth sized bow. I have desired a small bow that can exceed expectations on performance, speed, size, and of course weight… I finally found my “Big Girl Bow”.
Mathews Jewel has met all of those and MORE with a beautiful design and amazing technology!
I can’t wait to get in the woods with my New Jewel!
Thank you Mathews.
Sincerely,

LOVE MY JEWEL!

I started bow hunting last year and I never thought I would love it this much! I had a Passion and although it was hard for me, I traded it in for a Jewel. That was the best idea ever! I LOVE my Jewel, the light-weight, the smooth draw- EVERYTHING! I always considered myself a whimp, but now I’m EASILY pulling 56 pounds comfortably! After the Jewel and the Passion, Mathews is my ONLY option when considering a new bow. Thanks so much Mathews!!! PS- The picture is of me and my Passion with my first robin hood! I will get a picture when I get my first kill with my Jewel!

New Bow Owner

I go to hunting camp with my husband and love to spend time with him. This year I decided to surprise him and hunt along with him, so I shot many bows and found the Jewel to be far superior and great to shoot. I am now a bow enthusiast and love to shoot! Thank you Mathews for making such a nice bow for women.
