Features

Perimeter-Weighted Technology, yet another Mathews innovation, features a metal Inertia Dis strategically placed on the perimeter of the cam. As the bow limbs fire, the Inertia Disc catapults in the opposite direction, counteracting the limb momentum and resulting in dramatically decreased recoil and noise.
Parallel Limbs are yet another Mathews innovation that has been adopted by other bow companies. The more parallel a bows limbs, the more they tend to cancel each others recoil and vibration resulting in a smoother shooting bow.Parallel Limb Design
The perfectly machined V-shaped 'limb pocket' precisely guides the V-shaped limb into place where it locks in for a perfectly snug, zero-tolerance fit. This is the most reliable, most accurate limb system ever devised!
Mathews Genuine Accessories are designed and manufactured to precise standards which optimize performance and provide perfect fit, finish and quality to your Mathews bow.   You’ll find Mathews innovation within each product and experience excellence in every shot. While they've become the visual identifier of a Mathews bow, Harmonic Dampers are weights that float in an elastomer wheel to absorb recoil vibration in the riser. The reduction in recoil vibration is so significant in this Mathews technology that is has been licensed for use in other industries.Harmonic Damping System
Mathews Invented single-cam technology, an innovation that changed archery forever, launched Mathews to the top and directly resulted in the nine Solocam Advantages: most efficient, faster, more accurate, more forgiving, solid wall, less maintenance, less noise, less recoil & vibration, no synchronization problems. Customize the feel of your bow with one of three different cam options. Max Cam-65 or 85% let off, Mini Cam 65% let off, and Super Soft Cam 60% let-off.

Specifications

The IBO speed rating for a bow is reached by shooting a 350 grain arrow at 70lbs of draw weight and 30 inches of draw length. This is important to remember because unless you are shooting the same specs used to attain IBO speed ratings, your bow of choice will not shoot as quickly as you might think....read more
This is the length of your bow as measured from the axle of the top idler wheel to the axle of the lower cam. When it comes to applying these dimensions to target shooting or hunting it is important to consider how and where the bow will be used...read more
The term “brace height” refers to the distance between the throat of the bow grip and the string. Brace height is important for many reasons. First, the shorter the brace-height, the faster the IBO speed rating will be. This is simply due to an increase in the bows power-stroke. In other words, the arrow remains on the string for a longer period of time because the string must travel a longer distance...read more
This is simply the minimum and maximum amount of weight required to bring the bow to full draw. Typically, this weight range is 10 pounds. For instance, a bow with a 60 pound peak draw weight will have a minimum of 50 pounds. Likewise, a 70 pound draw will carry a minimum draw-weight of 60 lbs. Overall draw weight can be increased or reduced (within this 10 pound range) by simply tightening or loosening the limb-bolts on each limb...read more
This is the actual weight of the bow. Bowhunters who typically hunt in demanding terrain will often favor a lightweight setup such as the all new Mathews Hēlim weighing in at a remarkable 3.5 lbs. or the Mathews Jewel, DXT or Z7 Xtreme. Such bows make long hikes over tough terrain much easier as the hunter experiences less fatigue. This can be a real asset over the course of a long backcountry hunt...read more
The term “let-off” basically refers to the percentage of weight that is subtracted from the bows advertised draw weight. In other words, a bow set at 70lbs, with 80% let-off, will only require that the shooter hold back 14lbs of weight when the bow is at full draw...read more
In order to reach your full potential as a shooter and a bowhunter it is important to be relaxed and comfortable when executing the shot. To achieve this situation, the bow must fit you properly; i.e. the draw length must be correct...read more
The bowstring has two purposes. First, it is used to transfer energy from the shooters arms and back muscles directly to the limbs of the bow. This allows the bow to be “drawn” and thus store energy. Second, it is used as a catalyst to transfer that energy from the limbs to the arrow...read more

What surprised me the most with this bow is the speed!

This is the most accurate bow I think I’ve ever shot but what surprised me the most with this bow is the speed. The Mini-Max Cam are very smooth and easy to draw and the longer axle-to-axle length would never give the impression of a speed bow but one shot through a chronograph and I think you would be very happy.

No bow is more accurate and forgiving.

This bow is the culmination of the great Conquest line.  They have added to and changed the original Conquest to attain the ultimate competition bow.  With the brace height and axle-to-axle length, no bow is more accurate and forgiving.  Also, with the choice of 65% or 80% let off, it allows the shooter an option of holding weight.
