The best bows in the world

April 15, 2003 by Les Julian

I started bow hunting as a teenager during the late 70s. To say that bow technology has progressed rapidly over the years is a gross understatement. Ive owned many different types of bows over the years and can say that there was always something I didnt like about every bow I owned, that is until 1994. Frustrated and ready for yet another change, I went to my local bow shop. I decided that I would pull back every bow that was my draw length. After going through the rack I came back to a bow that stood out. It was a Mathews MXZ. I never heard of Mathews before but the bow felt right and shot even better. Since that day I have owned five Mathews bows, changing only to keep up with technology. In 2002 I purchased the Mathews Legacy and killed this deer. Thanks Mathews!
