Quebec Caribou

August 21, 2004 by Rick Martin

My wife and I were on our trip of a lifetime, she had already shot her first caribou, so now it was my turn. I watched several good bulls go by on the trail I was watching, when this guy came into view. He looked so wide, I thought he had wings. I ranged him at 40 yards, and you couldnt even hear the Mathews LX as it sent the arrow straight through the big bull. After the shot he just stood there, so I summond another arrow from the quiver, and the LX sent another Steelforce tiped Axis arrow through the big guy. An awesome trip, with awesome equipment. Thanks Mathews!!
