One bad hog!
On this morning hunt I had hoped to surprise a buck as I sat overlooking a heavy trail in the brush. I had a couple of does and a young 8-point eating below me when they became alarmed and started vacating the area. This hog rushed out of the brush, snapping at the deer as they left. When he turned around to come back down the trail, I waited patiently, and as soon as he looked away from me I drew my Mathews Classic and took the shot. At just over 200 lbs he’s not a big hog, but he will make some fine pork chops.
