NC opening day of Bow Season
It was Saturday September the 7th 2013. I wake up at 0545 and was out the door by 0600. I got into the stand a little later than I wanted, I was still in it by 0630. About 0700 I seen four or five deer up near the chicken houses. So I thought they may make their way to, bu they never did. At 0745I seen three deer coming through the woods, and I seen that one was a buck. By the time they got to me I had seen that all three was bucks in full velvet, which is what I have been hunting for since I have been bow hunting. This buck was the last one to get with in range, and was the biggest. I pulled back my Z7 extreme, put the pin behind the front shoulder, touched the trigger, and let the carbon express and the rage 3 blade do its job. He only went about 45 to 55 yards. I finally got my Full Velvet Buck.
