I have bowhunted for several years but never taken a Pope
and Young buck. The 2004 season in Missouri started 2 weeks
earlier than normal on September 15th. I harvested this buck
on September 25th with my Mathews bow. The buck only went
about 60 yards. It green scored around 140 inches. My Mathews FX made me a better shot, so thanks Mathews for helping me take my first Pope and Young.
