Mr. 307

September 3, 2010 by John Venturino

This was the first year I had ever put in for Wyoming’s coveted area 7 elk tag, Laramie Peak, and drew it. I put in a lot of time at Bullseye Archery in Laramie getting my Drenalin LD tuned and practicing. I had even spent most of my evenings and weekends practicing out to 60 yards outdoors in different weather conditions. All that practice payed off on September 3rd when I harvested my first elk ever at 44 yards with my Drenalin. The Drenalin is my second bow from Mathews. My first bow was a Switchback LD. I have been very impressed with both bows. I have a 31 inch draw with a half inch D-loop, so I thought finding a bow to fit me would be tough. I was pleasantly surprised when I shot the Switchback for the fist time. I had to have it. After shooting that one well, last year I decided to upgrade to a faster bow and didn’t even consider anything but Mathews. I also instantly fell in love with the Drenalin the first time I tried one. Thank you for making such an amazing product! I can’t wait to see what kind of new and innovative things you guys come up with next!
