My story begins oct 1 the first day of Pa archery season I’m hunting with a Diamond Black Ice we are headed for a small peace of woods to hunt some of my friends decide to walk thought this peace an see if they can move anything well about thirty minutes g by and i have three nice does heading for me I shoot the first one and she goes down in the brush the other deer run off so i wait a few before i go to check on her when i get to the spot I shot her she is gone the only thing i find is my arrow with the broad head gone and a tuff of hair no blood nothing at all so that night I tell my buddy about it and he says like he always does you should be shooting a Mathews well the next day we are off to the Archery store in Pa I bought a new cable lock an started looking at there bows I was looking for the z7 and all they had was the z7 magnum so i tried one and I liked it so much I bought one my buddy Ray also bought a new z9 after a hr of set up we were off to the camp ground I felt pretty good about this bow The next morning I was on stand I had a doe catch me by surprise that was it for the Morning hunt well back in stand for the evening hunt well the doe came back in at twenty yards I drew my z7 mag and let the arrow fly she only took five steps an fell over I couldn’t believe it only five steps my buddy Ray also took a nice deer on his first night out with his z9 I finished my week out by taking another doe with my new z7 magnum After 3yrs of not being able to take a deer down with my Black Ice In one wk I had 2 with my new Mathews z7 Magnum I never thought I would be shooting a Mathews but I know now I will always be shooting one Thank You Mathews Gary from Massachusetts
