November 11th was my Dads birthday. He passed away 23 years ago at the age of 62. He taught me all I know when it comes to hunting. For some reason this day he was on my mind more than usual and rather than not going out hunting on a terribly windy day I decided to go.
I think he had something to do with 169 and 7/8 buck giving me the opportunity of a lifetime.
The Mathews performed perfectly and the buck went 40 yards and dropped. Best of all my son was just a few hundred yards away and we got to enjoy this moment together. What a day….one I have dedicated to my Dad.
